Apply now for the position of: Pipeline Technician **PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:** Perform operational and maintenance activities required to ensure the physical integrity of the pipeline and its above-ground facilities through patrol of the Right-of-Way (ROW), prevent damage to the transportation system, and ensure product delivery in compliance with national and international standards while adhering to QHSE standards. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** \- Participate in execution of assigned capital projects (CAPEX) under supervision of Supervisor \- Execute the annual Pipeline Maintenance Plan and carry out all related activities to ensure full compliance\- Participate in execution of Major Maintenance and ROW Clearance activities for the pipeline\- Conduct and supervise ROW clearance activities along the ROW where applicable * Measure pipe-to-soil potentials for the Cathodic Protection System, as well as inspect and examine cathodic protection rectifiers. * Perform corrosion mitigation monitoring every two months, including measuring potentials, visually inspecting aerial coatings, maintaining rectifiers, and anode beds. \- Conduct ionized flame detector surveys every three months. \- Supervise maintenance activities and new projects carried out by contractors within the transportation system. * Identify and address HSE hazards, work-related aspects, and corresponding controls. * Understand QHSE responsibilities and critical tasks. \- Know and apply procedures relevant to assigned work. \- Intervene when observing any condition that may harm people, facilities, or the environment. \- Halt or prevent any work conducted near the pipeline without respecting the Right-of-Way. * Report incidents or potential incidents for investigation. * Attend QHSE meetings and other QHSE-related activities associated with assigned work. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. * Experience in Oil & Gas industry, petrochemical industry, or related sectors. \- Industrial safety awareness\- Knowledge of regulations, laws, and other legal or corporate requirements regarding gas, environment, safety, and hygiene.\- Ability to operate vehicles with standard transmission **Apply now** and join the great team at **Sempra Infrastructure**!
