Job Description We are seeking an NOC Engineer specialized in SMS and VoIP (SIP) to join our Operations team. This position is critical to ensuring the continuity, stability, and quality of our voice and messaging services. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, technical support, provisioning, and diagnostics of Voice (SIP) and SMS (SMPP) platforms, ensuring high availability and service levels for customers and carriers. Responsibilities * Continuous monitoring of systems, alarms, and metrics on Voice and SMS platforms. * Incident handling, logging, and tracking via tickets, chat, and phone calls. * Provisioning and configuration of accounts and services on SIP and SMPP platforms. * Interoperability testing and configuration validation with customers and carriers. * Diagnosis and resolution of issues related to: * SIP signaling * Audio quality (RTP) * Delay, jitter, packet loss * Connectivity and service access * Traffic analysis using tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, and sngrep. * Clear and structured technical documentation of incidents and solutions. * Timely escalation to higher support levels when required. * End-to-end case tracking until final resolution. Required Technical Knowledge * Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. * VoIP: SIP, RTP, SDP. * SMS: SMPP protocol. * Linux servers (intermediate level). * Ticketing tools: Zendesk, Jira or similar. * Monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios. * Familiarity with: * Softphones * IP switches * SBC (Session Border Controller) * Media Gateways * LAN switches, firewalls, and routers Preferred Experience * Platforms such as: Asterisk, Digitalk, OpenSIPS, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH. * Telecommunications environments or carrier networks. * Technical certifications in Networking or VoIP. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field (in progress or completed). * Intermediate-to-advanced English (reading, writing, and technical communication).
