MONITORING OPERATOR

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced monitoring operator with expertise in video surveillance systems to supervise cameras, detect suspicious activities, and respond to incidents, ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Real-time monitoring and surveillance of security cameras 2. Effective response and coordination to security incidents 3. System maintenance and preparation of detailed reports Education: Completed secondary school or high school diploma. Preferably with training in security, criminology, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in security monitoring, electronic surveillance, or similar roles. Prior experience operating CCTV systems and other security technologies. Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in operating video surveillance systems and electronic security equipment. Ability to quickly and accurately detect and assess suspicious situations. Basic computer skills, including operation of monitoring software. * **Monitoring and Surveillance:** * Monitor security cameras and other surveillance systems in real time. * Detect and report suspicious or unauthorized activities within the premises. * Record and document unusual events observed during the shift. * **Incident Response:** * Immediately notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies or hazardous situations. * Coordinate with the security team and other departments for rapid and effective incident response. * Participate in incident investigations and provide recordings or detailed reports when required. * **System Maintenance:** * Conduct periodic functional checks of monitoring equipment and report any technical failures. * Collaborate with the IT department or external vendors for maintenance and repair of surveillance systems. * **Reporting and Documentation:** * Prepare daily activity and monitored event reports. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incidents and actions taken. * **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure all monitoring activities comply with company internal policies and applicable legal regulations. * Participate in training sessions and updates on security and asset protection standards.
