Responsible for managing material flow within a company, handling receipt, storage, preparation, and supply of materials to production areas or assembly lines, ensuring the correct material is available at the right time to prevent stoppages, while also performing inventory counts and stock control. This role is critical to internal logistics, involving loading/unloading, organization, cycle counting, and use of material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities: * Receiving and Verification: Receive, inspect, and log materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders. * Storage and Organization: Label, stack, and organize materials in the warehouse efficiently and safely. * Supply: Prepare material kits and deliver them to production lines or work areas as needed, often using systems such as FIFO (First\-In, First\-Out). * Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, maintain accurate records, and report stock levels. * Shipment Preparation: Package and prepare materials for distribution or shipment to customers. * Equipment Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Key Skills and Knowledge: * Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control. * Ability to operate warehouse equipment. * Attention to detail and organizational skills. * Teamwork and communication skills.
