Position Summary: Responsible for the design, validation, and implementation of systems within manufacturing processes, optimizing product lifecycle and promoting continuous improvement. Provide support to production and quality departments. Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027\. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** Responsible for the design, validation, and implementation of systems within manufacturing processes, including process documentation (Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plan), as well as optimization across the product lifecycle. Identify and promote continuous improvement of production processes. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** A. Support production areas (opportunities reported from production lines) B. Participate in safety assessments (operational risk analysis) C. Support EHS in machine guarding activities per Eaton requirements. D. Design, validate, and implement manufacturing systems (assembly lines), including associated documentation (Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plan). E. Support the quality department in daily needs F. Develop and implement fixtures in production areas per Eaton requirements. G. Generate manufacturing reports, charts, and documents as needed. H. Promote continuous improvement in production processes. I. Develop, lead, and foster an organizational culture that supports expected outcomes in the Safety, Health, and Environment (MESH) system. J. Maintain a waste segregation culture. K. Separate hazardous waste from regular trash. L. Place waste in designated containers. M. Keep your work area clean and free of contaminants. N. Avoid wasting water and electricity. O. Report any activity that could jeopardize my safety or the environment. P. Identify and properly manage all chemicals that may contaminate the environment Q. React/Report immediately in case of any chemical spill. R.
