Job Summary: The Machine Operator will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of various machines and equipment, including hand tools, to perform routine tasks. This position is also responsible for the installation, visual inspection, and setup of machines and equipment within expected quality and safety guidelines. Machines and equipment may be manual or computerized. Responsibilities and Requirements: Operate and maintain machines and equipment. Use hand tools. Move materials and parts to and from work areas using forklifts and pallet jacks. Ensure smooth production flow. Participate in troubleshooting technical and production issues. Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions. Basic applied mathematics knowledge for shop use. Comply with established guidelines and procedures. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Ability to read and follow route sheets/drawings. Ability to train new machine operators. High level of organizational ability. Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environment. Self-motivation. Ability to work well in a team. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive arm movements, and frequently lift objects, with capacity to lift up to 22 kg. Forklift operator certification. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Experience/Skills: Experience in machining or related field. Experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments. Basic computer skills.
