Description
Involves leading high-impact strategic projects at the regional level or higher. Evaluate, design, and implement initiatives in collaboration with local management, staff, and designated systems projects aimed at reducing operating expenses, increasing revenue, and improving customer service.
**Position Overview:**
* Consult with management on critical areas such as field operations regarding new services, products, and procedures.
* Develop procedures; prepare and monitor broad-scope plans for each station and district; and provide analysis related to expansion, new products, procedures, vehicles, equipment, staffing, and location requirements.
* Provide technical assistance to field personnel through workshops, station reviews, seminars, and one-on-one sessions covering areas such as operations, staffing, IMS, FAMIS, COSMOS, contingency planning, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
* Develop, monitor, analyze, recommend, and implement/assist with systems to improve productivity and cost behavior across all international operations areas in coordination with local management.
* Participate in special task forces and serve on specialized management committees involving corporate-wide productivity initiatives.
* Establish a communication link between field operations and properties, providing technical expertise related to station requirements—including lease termination/new location setup, five-year planning, equipment justification, floor plans, vehicle planning, and cost justification.
* Assist foreign affiliates per agreement specifications, including site selection, evaluations, design and engineering planning. Where specified, also supervise and administer construction contracts, negotiations, and monitor international airports to ensure corporate needs are met and standards complied with.
* Lead corporate and departmental projects impacting customs clearance, system forms, and other initiatives related to productivity and performance.
* Plan and coordinate activities with local staff and management.
* May be required to perform other assigned duties.
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Minimum Education:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or another engineering discipline.
* Fluent English (800 TOEIC points).
**Minimum Experience:**
* Seven (7) years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
**Minimum Required Skills:**
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical tools
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or higher
* Familiarity with problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, Pareto, 5 Whys, histograms, etc.)
* Planning and organizational skills
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Influencing and persuasion skills
* Project management skills
* Presentation skills
