**Location:** Mexico City (CDMX), Polanco **Hybrid work model:** 2 days on-site per week Are you passionate about optimizing critical data environments and participating in projects that directly impact the business? We are seeking a **Senior DBA** with a strategic mindset, analytical vision, and solid experience in SQL Server to join a team where innovation, stability, and intelligent data utilization are top priorities. **What we’re looking for** * Availability to attend the office in Polanco, CDMX twice per week * Residence in **Mexico City or the metropolitan area (mandatory)** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field * 4+ years of **verifiable** experience as a DBA * Solid experience administering SQL Server in production environments * Advanced proficiency in SQL (query tuning, modeling, and optimization) * Experience with backups, recovery, and high-availability configurations * Knowledge of database security and governance * Experience in ETL and data modeling (ER/UML) * Desired: experience with Power BI or other visualization tools * Intermediate English for technical reading **Your responsibilities** * Administer, design, and optimize relational databases—primarily SQL Server * Improve query performance, indexing, and data architecture * Ensure data availability, integrity, and security * Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies * Monitor critical metrics and ensure SLA compliance * Conduct audits and ensure adherence to standards and regulations * Document processes, architecture, and best practices * Collaborate with technical teams and business units to translate requirements into data solutions * Participate in analytics, reporting, and insights initiatives using tools such as Power BI **What we value in you** * Analytical thinking and commitment to continuous improvement * Focus on data quality, security, and governance * Ability to solve problems and make technical decisions autonomously * Effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders * Results orientation and commitment to achieving objectives/SLAs * Interest in delivering strategic value through data **What we offer** Nominal employment contract with statutory benefits from day one Continuous training and technical growth Participation in strategic and high-impact projects Hybrid work model A collaborative, dynamic environment focused on continuous learning
