This includes installation, configuration, preventive and corrective maintenance of Access Control, Intrusion, and Fire Detection systems, guaranteeing efficient and technically sound customer service.Activities:Maintenance and Support (Corrective and Preventive) * Diagnose hardware failures (sensors, panels, readers) and management software. * Execute preventive maintenance plans (device cleaning). * Respond to service tickets within agreed response times (SLA). * Perform *firmware* updates and security patches on IoT devices. * **Troubleshooting:** Analytical ability to determine the root cause of a failure. * **Customer Service:** Friendly and patient demeanor, plus the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Installation and Configuration * Physical installation of electronic security devices (sensors, biometrics, panels). * Configuration of network parameters (IP addressing, subnet masks, gateways) on security devices. Academic Qualifications * Required: Technician or Technologist degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems, Telecommunications, or Electricity. * Preferred: Manufacturer certifications (Hikvision, Honeywell, ZKTeco, Suprema, Johnson Controls, Optex). * Class "B" driver’s license preferred.
