This role is critical for strategic projects combining a **robust backend built with Ruby on Rails 6.1** and a **modern frontend built with Next.js 16, React 19, and strict TypeScript**. **What You’ll Do** * Design and implement **modern, scalable interfaces** using Next.js, React, and strict TypeScript, leveraging Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Radix UI. * Maintain and evolve **versioned APIs (v1/v2)** with Ruby on Rails, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. * Develop and maintain **integrations with shipping carriers, e-commerce platforms, and payment gateways**, ensuring interoperability and efficiency. * Manage **asynchronous job processing** using AWS Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, and Lambdakiq. * Collaborate on maintaining **CI/CD pipelines**, ensuring reliable and rapid deployments. * Optimize critical endpoints and enhance the **user experience** through efficient code and best practices. **What We’re Looking For** * Solid experience with **Ruby on Rails 6.1 and Ruby 3+**, and frontend development with **Next.js (App Router), React 19, and strict TypeScript**. * Proficiency in **PostgreSQL**, including query optimization and full-text search (pg_search). * Experience developing and consuming **versioned RESTful APIs**. * Knowledge of **decoupled frontend/backend architectures** and version control (Git). * Experience working in **Agile/Scrum teams**. **Technology Stack** * **Backend:** Ruby 3.0.7, Rails 6.1.7, PostgreSQL 14, Redis, Puma, Lambdakiq (ActiveJob + AWS SQS + Lambda). * **Frontend:** Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript 5 strict, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI. * **Cloud & DevOps:** AWS Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, App Runner, S3, Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD. * **Testing & QA:** RSpec, Vitest + Testing Library, Capybara, Selenium WebDriver, VCR, WebMock. **Start Date:** March 17 **Location:** LATAM **Salary Range:** USD 1,300–1,700 per month If you are a **passionate Full Stack Developer focused on Rails and Next.js**, seeking to **create high-impact solutions within a top-tier professional environment**, this is your opportunity to join **Icalia Labs**. **Apply now and become part of a team redefining the technological standard in its industry.** Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22,000.00 – $30,000.00 per month Work Location: Remote
