Focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance **Capital Humano Laguna is seeking a Customs Documentation Specialist in Torreón, Coahuila de Zaragoza** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ### **Job Objective** To serve as the operational engine of customs clearance, ensuring accurate data entry, preventive classification review, and flawless preparation of both electronic and physical customs files. Your precision in the system acts as the shield protecting our clients’ operations and the agency’s license. ### **What We Are Looking For (Requirements)** * **Education:** Completed bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, Logistics, or a related field. * **Technical experience:** Practical mastery of **Annex 22** (entry of codes, identifiers, values, tariff classifications, Incoterms, and duties). * **Operational specialization:** Hands-on experience processing key customs entries: **V1, F4, F5, A3, and R1**. * **Key tools:** Proficiency in **VUCEM** for generating and reviewing **COVE** and **DODA**. * **Essential knowledge:** Identification and compliance with **NOMs** (including exceptions), Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA), and countervailing duties. * **Location:** Torreón, Coahuila (On-site). ### **Your Key Challenges (Responsibilities)** * **Document validation:** Thoroughly review invoices, Packing Lists (PL), certificates, and permits prior to any data entry. * **Surgical data entry:** Input data into the customs system to ensure correct completion of customs entries and strict adherence to regulatory requirements. * **Preventive classification review:** Audit generated customs entries to detect discrepancies before submission to customs authorities or signing. * **File management:** Assemble and validate complete electronic files for each customs operation. * **Incident resolution:** Apply sound judgment and systematic methodology to resolve technical observations in the system or with authorities. ### **Key Skills for Success in This Role** * **Exceptional attention to detail:** Ability to process numeric and alphanumeric data with zero tolerance for error. * **Strong sense of urgency:** Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus to meet customs clearance deadlines. * **Impeccable organization:** Discipline in maintaining proper physical and digital filing systems to ensure full traceability of information. ### **What We Offer** * **Base salary:** $3,000–$3,500 MXN per week (net, based on experience). * Savings fund. * Statutory benefits. * Opportunity for stability and career growth within a consolidated customs structure. **Desired education level:** Higher education \- degree holder **Desired experience level:** Mid-level **Departmental function:** Logistics / Transportation **Industry:** International trade and development **Skills:** * PROACTIVITY * CONFLICT RESOLUTION * PROCESS CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=6a0dd0f4390000320071af3f\&source\=indeed*
