The IATF Coordinator is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and auditing the quality management system in accordance with the **IATF 16949** standard, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements. Acts as the liaison among production, engineering, quality, and customers to guarantee traceability, continuous improvement, and conformance in processes and products.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system under IATF 16949
* Plan and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
* Develop and maintain technical documentation: procedures, work instructions, FMEAs, PPAPs, APQP, etc.
* Track corrective and preventive actions arising from audits or deviations
* Train personnel on quality topics, regulations, and continuous improvement tools
* Manage quality indicators and report results to management
* Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with specific requirements
* Identify opportunities for improvement in quality processes and systems
Requirements
* Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality systems, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector
* Solid knowledge of the **IATF 16949** standard and its integration with **ISO 9001**
* Proficiency in quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, Ishikawa
* Experience in internal and external audits, and interaction with customers and suppliers
* Preferred: IATF 16949 internal auditor certification, experience coordinating quality teams
