At Outokumpu, we are looking for the best **Electronic Engineer** to join our maintenance team at our San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico. **This position rotates across all three shifts.** **Requirements:** * Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. * Proven experience as an Electrical or Electronic Engineer in manufacturing. * Knowledge of variable frequency drives (Siemens and Allen Bradley). * Familiarity with electrical regulations (e.g., NOM-001-SEDE-2012, NFPA 70B and 70E). * PLCs should preferably be from Allen Bradley and Siemens. * Knowledge of instrumentation and control. * Knowledge of HMI programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley). **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and resolve issues arising across various production lines (corrective and preventive maintenance) during the assigned shift; assign workloads to the maintenance shift personnel to ensure smooth operation of production process lines. * Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards by planning, authorizing, and verifying work permits to foster a safety culture and contribute to the company’s safety objective — zero accidents. * Assume full responsibility for decisions and actions, ensuring accountability and achievement of organizational objectives by engaging stakeholders, applying the 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to learn from errors and prevent recurrence, always pursuing continuous improvement. * Execute assigned training and development plans, applying personnel development policies to help achieve organizational goals by equipping staff with necessary tools and knowledge to fulfill job duties and meet objectives. * Support compliance with legal requirements of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) within the electrical maintenance area. **Shared Responsibilities:** * Assist in preparing the daily log and reporting relevant activities using PRISMA software (transitioning to SAP), to track delays and keep stakeholders informed. * Any potential issue within the area of responsibility. **Salary Range: MXN 25,170–36,610 per month** **We Offer:** *Grocery vouchers — Savings fund — Retirement plan — Year-end bonus above statutory minimum* *Statutory vacation days — Vacation bonus above statutory minimum — Monthly production incentive or annual sales incentive, contingent upon company KPI performance results — Life insurance — Major medical expense insurance for employee and immediate family (children up to age 23) — Profit-sharing based on company performance — Transportation service across 9 routes*
