Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced mason for advanced construction work, including team supervision and coordination with other trades, ensuring quality and compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Performing advanced masonry work and high-quality finishing. 2. Supervising and organizing small teams of assistants. 3. Collaborating and coordinating with the site manager and other trades. We are seeking a mason to perform advanced construction work in Guadalajara. Duties include erecting walls, laying bricks and blocks, as well as plastering, tiling, and flooring tasks with high-quality finishes. The ability to interpret technical drawings and conduct on-site layout measurements is required to ensure full alignment with project specifications. Small teams of assistants are also supervised, with work organized to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. Correct use of personal protective equipment and strict adherence to safety regulations are essential. Coordination with the site manager and other trades occurs within a dynamic environment where collaboration is key. This position demands precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of both traditional and modern construction techniques, directly contributing to structural integrity and durability. A minimum of three years’ verifiable experience performing duties typical of a Skilled Mason Level 1 in the construction sector is required. Completion of a Labor Risk Prevention (PRL) course—specifically designed for construction—with either 20 or 60 hours’ duration is mandatory. Desirable skills include the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proactivity, and coordination aptitude. Additionally, a valid Class B driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for transportation.
