Verify figures, journal entries, and documents for accuracy. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial information to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll charts and reports. Complete closing procedures and reports at the end of each period as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue accounts, invoices, and statements of account per company procedures. Track and resolve overdue accounts and supplier invoices until full payment is received or resolved. Coordinate tasks and work with other departments; serve as a departmental role model or mentor; assign work tasks and ensure timely completion meeting appropriate quality standards. Immediately report workplace accidents or other injuries to the manager or supervisor upon occurrence. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; and answer telephones using proper protocol. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen to and appropriately respond to concerns raised by other employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

Relevant work experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Supervisory experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
