Administration, Project Management or Public Policy, Law or Human Rights. **Type of contract:** Salaried. **Language:** Intermediate English. **Salary:** $38,000.00 gross monthly **Position objective:** Design the regional strategy, align programs, ensure proper operation of offices, and meet project and donor requirements on time. Support the deployment of global and national strategies with state offices. Contribute to positioning Save the Children on child and adolescent issues in the region. Foster leadership among office heads for decision-making, activity execution, and strategy development. **Functions:** * Support the implementation of global and national strategies in state offices, in line with the CSP established with the Deputy Directorate of Strategy and International Alliances. * Support the organization's Public Advocacy and visibility strategy through continuous coordination with the Advocacy, Communication and Marketing Department. * Identify potential funding sources in the region and share them with the Strategic and International Alliances Department to grow operations across different states. * Conduct situational analysis of the states comprising the region and understand Save the Children’s work to support strategic decision-making, in collaboration with the Quality Department (MERA and Content). * Understand regional investment to strategically use resources in coordination with the Administration and Finance Department. * Strengthen leadership of Office Heads in decision-making, activity execution, and strategy development aligned with field operational needs. * Ensure periodic performance evaluations of staff and promote personal development plans and identification of training needs, in coordination with Office Heads. * Establish capacity-building plans and promote team development through continuous training, in coordination with the Content team. * Supervise field office operations and the development of work and investment plans for their improvement, in coordination with Office Heads. * Actively participate in recruitment processes for the team in the region. **Activities:** * Promote standardization and continuous improvement of processes for managing state operational teams and implementing projects. * Harmonize logistical and administrative processes to increase operational efficiency and activity execution; strengthening SCMx's presence in the field and becoming a reference for correct, high-quality service to children, adolescents, and their families. * Supervise the implementation of programs and projects carried out in the offices under their responsibility and managed by Office Heads, to assess progress toward committed goals and facilitate resolution of issues that could jeopardize program objectives. * Support comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budget management processes. * Identify, together with Office Heads, team and office needs to consolidate work and investment plans. * Contribute to positioning Save the Children as a distinguished and trustworthy organization on child and adolescent issues in the region. * Strengthen and promote key organizational messages and program messages at the regional level across the states. * Serve as a representative and liaison for Save the Children with other relevant actors on child and adolescent issues, to exchange information, create spaces for promoting organizational activities in the region, and build networks of participation and collaboration. * Develop and strengthen strategic alliances with actors from all sectors (public, private, and civil society) at the regional level, always in coordination with Advocacy and Communication. * Lead and actively participate (serve as the voice) in regional working groups related to children and adolescents, in coordination with Advocacy and Quality.
