




Job Summary: Responsible for managing and implementing maintenance programs, supervising the mechanic team, and ensuring the operational readiness and safety of the vehicle fleet. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the fleet. 2. Coordinate and supervise the mechanic team. 3. Negotiate with suppliers and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Develop and implement the fleet's **preventive maintenance program**. * Timely control of **corrective maintenance**. * Maintain service logs per unit (mechanical history). * Monitor mileage, engine hours, and service alerts. * Supervise the physical\-mechanical condition of units (tractor-trailers, heavy-duty trucks, trailers). * Authorize unit dispatch only under safe conditions. * Coordinate periodic physical\-mechanical inspections. * Manage the maintenance budget. * Control consumption of spare parts, lubricants, and tools. * Evaluate cost per unit (cost/km). * Negotiate with suppliers and external workshops. * Coordinate and supervise the mechanic team. * Assign repair tasks and timelines. * Evaluate staff performance. * Train staff on new technologies (e.g., DD13, DD15\ engines). * Coordinate external services (workshops, tow trucks, parts stores). * Evaluate supplier quality, turnaround times, and costs. * Ensure compliance with safety standards. * Guarantee that units meet legal requirements (inspections, physical\-mechanical conditions). * Support investigations of failures or incidents.
