




Position Summary: Responsible for directing and coordinating production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering personnel development within a continuous improvement environment. Description and details of responsibilities **1\.** Ensure execution of the production plan. **2\.** Monitor levels of efficiency and utilization of direct and indirect labor, continuously seeking improvement. **3\.** Manage productive activities as well as various supporting departments to ensure achievement of operational goals across plant performance. **4\.** Ensure appropriate use of various manufacturing resources across all operational areas—for example: personnel, equipment, materials, systems, and procedures. **5\.** Calculate and effectively communicate new labor requirements across all operational areas. **6\.** Provide guidance on courses of action and methodologies to resolve problems or handle difficult situations. **7\.** Provide assistance whenever necessary to address personnel-related matters. **8\.** Obtain necessary training for the team and deliver it based on the TQM philosophy. **9\.** Promote personnel growth and maturity. **10\.** Evaluate performance and provide feedback. **11\.** Identify individual and organizational weaknesses as well as strengths, and act accordingly. **12\.** Define and follow lines of authority. **13\.** Define individual responsibilities based on team goals. **14\.** Prevent future issues for the workforce and prepare them accordingly. **15\.** Prepare the workforce for future opportunities and challenges. **16\.** Plan and implement organizational changes. **17\.** Propose salary adjustments. **18\.** Assign responsibilities. **19\.** Assign tasks to various operational support departments, such as: Process Engineering, Materials, Systems, Plant Engineering, and Automation.
