Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware, and equipment into an industry-leading, end-to-end provider of optical solutions, serving the broader communications industry. This segment is organized into two primary product groups: Carrier Networks and Enterprise Networks. The Carrier Networks product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical fiber communication infrastructure supporting video, data, and voice services. The Enterprise Networks product group consists primarily of optical fiber communication networks targeting businesses, governments, and individuals for private use.
