We are seeking your talent as: **Production Supervisor for Optical Laboratory** * **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION** Lead and optimize the lens cutting, finishing, and assembly (edging) processes, ensuring compliance with optical quality standards and delivery timelines. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient evening-shift manufacturing flow, reducing waste, and coordinating the operational team. * **REQUIRED PROFILE** * Academic Background: Degree or candidate in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. * Technical Knowledge: \* Proficiency in productivity indicators (KPIs). * Knowledge of precision machinery. * Implementation of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma). * Inventory control and waste management. * **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise daily edging-area operations to ensure production targets are met without compromising optical precision. * Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance of edging machines. * Manage and train operational staff in assembly techniques and quality control. * Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and raw material waste. * Guarantee timely delivery of work to final quality control or logistics departments. * Skills and Competencies * Leadership and team management. * Results-oriented mindset with strict adherence to delivery deadlines. * High attention to detail (technical precision). * Analytical ability to resolve production-line problems. * **WE OFFER** * Salary: MXN 18,000 per month * Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with fixed Sunday rest day * Statutory benefits * Grocery vouchers * Punctuality bonus * Attendance bonus * Paid training * Birthday bonus * Annual salary increases based on objective achievement * **CORPORATE BENEFITS (for employee and up to 3 beneficiaries)** * Medical and nutritional consultations * Psychological therapy * 2 free pairs of eyeglasses per year * 4 free dental procedures per year * 50% discount on regenerative therapies * Basic formulary medications * 2 laboratory tests * Support for continuing education * Scholarship for English language studies Join our team and contribute to Medical Life’s success!
