Job Summary: We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer for the installation and maintenance of fiber optic and microwave infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution of fiber optic and microwave installation and maintenance. 2. Field fault diagnosis and resolution. 3. Collaboration in task planning and technical resource allocation. Essential Knowledge: * Fiber optic installation and splicing techniques and microwave link configuration. * Knowledge of telecommunications regulations and standards. * Power supply and backup systems for telecommunications infrastructure. * Proficiency in network design and planning software. * Experience in Outside Plant (OSP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), Internet Protocol (IP), fiber optic installation, line-of-sight, interpretation of fiber optic plans and diagrams, AutoCAD, Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), Microsoft Office. Education / Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Desirable certification in telecommunications networks (FOA, CCNA, or other certifications related to fiber optics and microwaves). Main Responsibilities: * Execute fiber optic and microwave infrastructure installation and maintenance according to designs and specifications. * Conduct tests and measurements to ensure quality and continuity of installed links. * Diagnose and resolve field faults, implementing necessary corrective actions. * Document interventions and test results in traceability systems. * Collaborate with the OSP Leader in task planning and technical resource allocation. Minimum Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in fiber optic and microwave network installation and maintenance. Availability to attend nighttime maintenance windows, emergent incidents, and weekend on-call duties.
