Job Summary: We are seeking a Fiber Maintenance Engineer to provide on-site support for transmission networks, fault response, and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. On-site support for transmission network maintenance 2. Fault response at data centers and customer sites 3. Preventive and corrective maintenance of switches, UPSs, and rectifiers A telecommunications company is looking for: **FIBER MAINTENANCE ENGINEER** Requirements: * **Education:** Technical degree in Telecommunications, Communications and Electronics, or related field * **Vehicle preferred** * **Experience:** 2 years in Engineering or Operations roles Responsibilities: · On-site support for corrective and preventive maintenance of the transmission network · On-site support for executing scheduled maintenance windows on the transport network · Fault response at data centers and customer sites. · Ensuring physical conditions at transmission network Nodes & PoPs through scheduled patrols · Site visits for equipment recovery due to service cancellations. · Equipment delivery and pickup from vendors; site visits for testing. · Medium testing · Preventive and corrective maintenance of switches, UPSs, and rectifiers, including their configuration Technical Knowledge: · Preventive and corrective equipment maintenance · Knowledge of transport network equipment (e.g., Infinera, CIENA, or similar) · Structured cabling · Knowledge of switching and routing **We Offer:** Schedule: Monday to Friday Benefits exceeding statutory requirements Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
