We seek an engineer or installer technician with experience in structured cabling, fiber optics, and GPON. **About Our Value Proposition** * Access to certifications and training courses from brands such as Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, etc. * Excellent work environment, with real mid- to long-term development opportunities. * Operational freedom to manage your time and achieve a professional–personal balance. **About Our Value Proposition** An excellent work environment, mid- to long-term development, plus extensive training and hands-on experience — we offer: * **Starting salary**: MXN 15,000 (tax-free) plus per diems, nominal compensation, and certification support. * **Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; half-day Saturday when required. * **Work location**: Cancún and the Conurbation Zone. **Your Profile and Experience** * 1–2 years of experience as: Installation Engineer, Structured Cabling Technician, Fiber Optic Installer, Telecommunications Installation Technician, Telco Installer, Cabling and Networking Engineer, or Telecommunications Engineer. * Technical degree in Telecommunications, Data Network Installation, or related field (in progress or completed). * Proficiency in structured cabling for voice and data, CCTV system installation, network equipment installation across various brands, fiber optic or GPON handling, and basic electrical knowledge. * 1–2 years of experience installing structured cabling and fiber optics: reading and interpreting blueprints; rack, tray, ladder rack, conduit, and piping installation for thick and thin walls, including PVC; ANSI/TIA/EIA standards. * Familiarity with cabling brands such as Cian, Panduit, Belden, etc., and UTP cable categories. * 1–2 years of experience using tools (hammer, drill, grinder, screwdriver, etc.), cable terminations, finishing, and punching down cables. * Preferred: Valid or expired DC3 certification for working at heights during cabling and equipment installation\- * Inventory management, control, safeguarding, preparation, and conditioning of equipment for client delivery. * Rack and cabinet installation and assembly; preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and peripherals; operational support. **Desired Education Level:** Upper Secondary Education **Desired Experience Level:** Entry Level **Departmental Function:** Technology / Internet **Industry:** Telecommunications **Skills:** * fiber ffth cabling networks cctv * cabinet rack gpon coaxial dc3 * installer wall ducts Access * blueprints diagrams utp rj45 * cian belden router switch *This vacancy originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69e12d605b00003e004d07e4\&source\=indeed*
