On-Site Manager

**SUMMARY:** Under limited supervision, the On-Site Manager administers key procurement functions and assigned personnel, including but not limited to inventory control, supplier and customer relationship management, replenishment strategy, and product data monitoring. This position performs duties more than 50% of the time at the client’s facility. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensures product availability by supervising and tracking inventory systems. * Resolves critical customer situations as well as issues among shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers, ensuring timely product delivery as planned. * Identifies and corrects root causes of inventory discrepancies at Distribution Centers; reviews underlying processes and information that may cause inconsistencies and recommends and implements corresponding improvements. * Serves as the liaison between the client, the sales team, customer service, and carriers. * Advises on demand trends and/or fluctuations that may impact the company’s service levels. * Performs other related duties as assigned. * Supervises an on-site team of employees and/or contractors. Responsible for hiring, termination, development, discipline, and other personnel administration functions. * Identifies, evaluates, and optimizes client inventories through analysis and operation of the replenishment system. * Identifies and manages disposition of obsolete and slow-moving inventory. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * A bachelor’s degree and three (3\) or more years of relevant experience are required. **KNOWLEDGE**, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: * Strong leadership skills, including interpersonal, communication, and analytical competencies. * Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration, and effective conflict management. * Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments and personnel at all organizational levels. * General knowledge of industrial products and supply chain systems. * Self-management capability, priority setting, effective follow-up, and clear communication across all organizational levels. * Minimum one (1\) year of experience in supervision and/or personnel management is required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: * 0 to 5 direct reports.
