Support in continuous improvement and process automation. **Role Description** ======================= We are seeking a Junior Collections Assistant to join the Accounts Receivable team supporting GE, operated by Accenture. The candidate will be responsible for executing operational activities within the collections cycle, ensuring timely account management, customer reconciliations, and adherence to client-defined recovery KPIs. This is an ideal position for early-career or career-development professionals with initial experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related finance areas. Attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills with internal and external customers are highly valued. **Key Responsibilities** ================================= * Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue and upcoming balances. * Contact customers (via email, phone, portals) to manage collection of outstanding invoices. * Apply received payments in relevant systems (SAP, Oracle, or other client ERP systems). * Perform account reconciliations with customers, identifying and resolving discrepancies. * Analyze open items and propose action plans to optimize cash flow. * Generate daily and weekly reports on collection status, aging, and project KPIs. * Collaborate with billing, accounting, and customer service teams to resolve issues. * Document all collection activities and maintain traceability in client tools. * Comply with project SLAs and established productivity metrics. * Support the Team Leader in continuous improvement and process automation initiatives. **Contract Duration** **12 months (with possible extension based on volume)** **Working Hours** Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (40 hours per week) **Work Modality** Hybrid (onsite as per project schedule) **Location** Mexico City **Minimum Requirements** ====================== * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (graduated or advanced student). * 0–1 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, reconciliations, or finance-related areas (ideally in multinational companies or BPO/shared services). * Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, basic formulas, VLOOKUP). * Basic knowledge of any ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or similar) — desirable. * Intermediate English level (written communication with international stakeholders and reading technical documentation). * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. * Results orientation and commitment to deadlines. **Desired Qualifications** ============= * Prior specific experience in B2B or industrial collections. * Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. * Familiarity with automation tools (RPA, macros, Power Automate). * Experience managing banking or electronic payment portals. * Advanced English. * Prior experience serving corporate clients in the industrial or energy sector. **Key Competencies** ====================== * Attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. * Negotiation and objection handling. * Time management and portfolio prioritization. * Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. * Customer orientation and commitment to continuous improvement. * Ability to learn quickly in dynamic environments.
