The RC-30 is the two-track version of the RC-3 Stereo in a dual-pedal format. Regardless of the instrument you play or the types of sounds you create, the RC series is ready to build loops with it. Plug in any instrument—even a microphone—the RC-30 features an XLR input with phantom power. You can undo/redo in real time. With 3 hours of recording time, your possibilities are unlimited! Built-in Effects: Fans of BOSS’s world-famous effects will be delighted to find a range of creative effects built into the RC-30. • Bend Down delivers a spectacular pitch-bend effect. • Step Phaser shifts phase in incremental steps. • Sweep Filter sweeps frequency in sync with the current tempo. • Tempo Delay produces delay effects synced to tempo. • Lo-Fi intentionally degrades sound to create distinctive character. Immerse yourself in your loops with cool effects—no added cost or hassle of external gear required. Microphone Input: Vocalists can connect their preferred microphone directly to the RC-30’s XLR input, with phantom power available for condenser microphones. Sing, overdub, and create multi-layered vocal loops; craft vocal sound-effect patterns; or point the microphone at your acoustic instruments—or anything that makes noise—and turn it into a great loop. You don’t need to be a musician to enjoy the Loop Station experience! Rhythm Guide: To keep your loops tight and in time, play along with one of the RC-30’s built-in basic rhythm patterns while recording. • Ten rhythm types included: Rock, Pop, Funk, Shuffle, R&B, and Latin. • A dedicated control lets you adjust rhythm volume and set tempo via Tap Tempo. • You can also specify the time signature. When saving a phrase, its rhythm type and time signature are saved as well. USB Connectivity: Connect the RC-30 to your PC via a standard USB cable to back up your phrases onto your computer. You can also load .WAV files directly from your PC into the RC-30. The RC-30 supports 16-bit/44.1 kHz .WAV files up to 1.7 GB. AUX Input: In addition to recording your instrumental performances and turning them into playable loops, you can record other external stereo audio sources through the AUX input. Audio from a digital audio player or another device connected to the AUX input can be easily recorded and added to your musical loops.
