Teamwork and attention to detail **Job Summary:** The Commercial Refrigeration Technician Assistant supports Refrigeration Technicians with the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role is ideal for individuals with basic knowledge of refrigeration or a desire to learn and develop skills in this field, working under the supervision of more experienced technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Assistance with Installation** * **Execution and support of Preventive Maintenance** * **Assistance with Corrective Maintenance and Diagnostics** * **General Support** * **Compliance with company and customer safety standards.** * Completion of reports satisfactorily in accordance with internal company guidelines. * **Customer Service** * **Care and safeguarding of company materials, tools, and vehicles.** **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed secondary school. Preferably with basic technical studies or courses in Refrigeration, Electricity, Electromechanics, or related fields. * **Experience:** No extensive prior experience required; however, any hands-on work experience, construction experience, or technical assistance and/or related experience will be valued. * **Basic Knowledge:** * Familiarity with the use of basic hand and power tools. * Basic workplace safety concepts. * Interest in learning about refrigeration and electrical systems. * **Skills:** * Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. * Ability to follow instructions accurately. * Proactive and self-motivated. * Communication skills and ability to work in a team. * Attention to detail. * Proficiency with phones and applications. * **Other:** * Valid driver’s license (desirable but not mandatory initially). * Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures (high and low), or at heights. * Availability to work at various commercial locations both within and outside the city. · **Work Environment:** Work may take place in diverse commercial settings such as supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, food processing plants, among others. It may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and handling of potentially hazardous tools and equipment.
