At Stefanini, we are more than 30,000 brilliant minds, connected from 41 countries, doing what they love and co-creating a better future. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. * Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization strategies, indexing, and caching. * Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and security vulnerabilities. * Perform periodic database backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data availability and integrity. * Collaborate with developers and system administrators to ensure seamless application integration with databases. * Develop and implement database security policies and procedures to protect confidential data. * Stay up to date with the latest database technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for improvements. * Provide technical support and guidance to end users, including resolving database-related issues and assisting with data recovery and analysis. * Document database design, configuration, and maintenance procedures for future reference. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role. * Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server). * Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization. * Experience with database backup and recovery procedures. * Familiarity with database security best practices. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Information** Strong expertise in SQL and Oracle.
