At Servicios Industriales MACHS, we seek an Accountant with experience in financial administration, accounting control, and tax compliance, focused on analyzing, organizing, and monitoring the company's administrative and financial processes.
Responsibilities:
* Record and supervise accounting transactions related to revenues, expenditures, and journal entries.
* Execute and coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and accounting reports.
* Generate financial and operational reports for Management and Executive Leadership.
* Analyze financial variances, costs, expenses, and budget deviations.
* Perform bank, tax, and accounting reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance with tax obligations (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, monthly and annual tax returns).
* Respond to requests from tax authorities and internal or external audits.
* Coordinate payments to suppliers, payroll, and other financial commitments.
* Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Follow up on collections and outstanding invoicing.
* Control fixed assets and depreciation.
* Maintain updated tax documentation, insurance policies, and permits.
* Implement and monitor internal controls and continuous improvement processes.
* Integrate accounting information with operational departments to generate reports and financial analysis.
* Participate in administrative and operational meetings as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
* Knowledge of tax obligations, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
* Familiarity with Financial Information Standards (NIF).
* Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and monthly trial balances.
