Implementation of internal controls and continuous improvement At Servicios Industriales MACHS, we seek an Accountant with experience in financial administration, accounting control, and tax compliance, focused on analyzing, organizing, and monitoring the company's administrative and financial processes. Responsibilities: * Record and supervise accounting transactions related to revenues, expenditures, and journal entries. * Execute and coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings. * Prepare and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and accounting reports. * Generate financial and operational reports for Management and Executive Leadership. * Analyze financial variances, costs, expenses, and budget deviations. * Perform bank, tax, and accounting reconciliations. * Ensure compliance with tax obligations (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, monthly and annual tax returns). * Respond to requests from tax authorities and internal or external audits. * Coordinate payments to suppliers, payroll, and other financial commitments. * Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Follow up on collections and outstanding invoicing. * Control fixed assets and depreciation. * Maintain updated tax documentation, insurance policies, and permits. * Implement and monitor internal controls and continuous improvement processes. * Integrate accounting information with operational departments to generate reports and financial analysis. * Participate in administrative and operational meetings as required. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors. * Knowledge of tax obligations, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis. * Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. * Familiarity with Financial Information Standards (NIF). * Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and monthly trial balances.
