A company in the metal recycling sector is seeking a Foreign Trade Manager with solid experience in customs operations, international logistics, and operational leadership. We seek a candidate with strategic and operational orientation, accustomed to coordinating land and maritime shipments, supervising customs processes, and maintaining direct client service for domestic and international clients. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Commercial Relations, or related field * Advanced English proficiency required * Prior experience as Operations Manager in a Customs Agency, Freight Forwarder, or international logistics company * Experience coordinating maritime and land-based operations * Personnel management experience (operational and administrative staff) * Knowledge of Customs Law, customs declarations (pedimentos), customs valuation (glosa), and non-tariff regulations * Familiarity with Incoterms and import/export procedures * Experience working with customs brokers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders * Experience using the Single Window (Ventanilla Única) * Advanced Excel skills and ability to prepare operational reports * Strong organizational skills, decision-making ability, and customer service orientation **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Coordinate comprehensive logistics for domestic and international shipments * Supervise customs operations and ensure timely and compliant execution * Track shipments from arrival through final delivery * Coordinate customs brokers, shipping lines, transportation providers, and warehouses * Supervise documentation and operational control to prevent cost overruns and delays * Provide direct customer service and follow-up * Prepare operational reports and consolidate information for administrative and tax departments * Lead the operations team and ensure achievement of objectives **COMPETENCIES:** * Leadership * Decision-making * Sense of urgency * Customer service orientation * Adaptability and results-driven mindset * Ability to work under pressure **Desired Education Level:** Bachelor’s Degree \- Completed **Desired Experience Level:** Expert Level **Departmental Function:** Manufacturing / Operations **Industry:** Mining and Metals **Skills:** * MANAGER * EXPORTS * FREIGHT FORWARDER *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=6a095b07400000320044d5ae\&source\=indeed*
