Apply for our opening as: Environmental and Quality Executor **Position Objective:** Coordinate and, where applicable, execute actions to ensure implementation, application, and improvement of the Environmental and Quality Management System, as well as ensure compliance with applicable regulations and corporate requirements regarding the environment in projects and operations of the electric power generation business units. **Responsibilities:** * Implement plans, programs, and actions derived from the Environmental Management System based on national, international, and corporate standards and requirements; * Conduct site visits and inspections, follow up on, and where applicable, execute actions arising from generated Action Plans; * Participate in obtaining permits from various local, state, and federal government agencies related to compliance with general provisions and conditions linked to each project/operation (SEMARNAT, CNA, PROFEPA, etc.); * Attend, and in some cases lead, internal and corporate audits and government inspections conducted at business units; propose and coordinate action plans resulting from these to ensure timely and appropriate responses under the Environmental Management System; * Ensure follow-up and compliance with operational and project requirements to maintain national, international, and corporate certifications related to environmental compliance applicable to business units: PROFEPA; ISO 14001; etc.; as well as serve as management representative for the ISO 14001 environmental management system. * Identify environmental risks and impacts in various activities and processes carried out in business units, including new projects, participate in investigations of environmental incidents/accidents and emergencies, and follow up on preventive/corrective measures to prevent recurrence; * Participate in identifying training needs for all personnel within business units, as well as deliver corporate environmental training programs as defined by the company; * Develop reports required by permits and resolutions issued for each business unit (quarterly, semi-annual, annual, etc.) from SEMARNAT, CNA, PROFEPA, etc. * **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of technical, regulatory, and administrative aspects related to the environment. * Familiarity with regulations, laws, and other regulatory or corporate instruments regarding environment, safety, and hygiene, as well as guidelines and requirements of the Integrated Management System. * Knowledge of ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 management systems. * Desired certification in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 as implementer or Internal Auditor. **Skills:** * Analytical and evaluative skills * Planning and organizational skills * Proactivity * Interpersonal relations * Performance under pressure * Effective communication and interpersonal skills **Requirements:** * 3 – 5 years of experience implementing ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 * More than 5 years of experience in environmental management, including permits and managing environmental programs for compliance with SEMARNAT and PROFEPA. * Completed degree in any of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Biochemical Engineering, Geology, Biology.
