We are seeking a **Drilling and Blasting Supervisor** for a project at Minera Fresnillo, Zac. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining, or related field. * Certifications in explosives and blasting safety * Technician in Explosives Handling * Knowledge of calculation, design, and handling of explosives * Proficiency in blasting design software * Minimum 5 years of verifiable surface blasting experience, preferably in mining * Knowledge of labor safety regulations and standards applicable to blasting * Familiarity with drilling equipment **Responsibilities** * Coordinate blasting planning, ensuring operations are carried out according to established plans and within scheduled timelines * Ensure all blasting operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. * Lead and coordinate work teams, ensuring effective communication * Train personnel in blasting techniques and explosives handling * Identify and effectively resolve issues related to blasting * Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety standards * Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with blasting * Ensure all equipment and materials used in blasting are in good condition and meet required specifications * Safety management * Prepare reports on blasting activities, including results, incidents, and any necessary procedural adjustments.
