Job Summary: Manufacturing Assistant who supports engineers in evaluating and implementing changes, participates in resource improvement and optimization projects, and generates process documentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participation in improvement and optimization projects 2. Generation of key documentation for manufacturing processes 3. Support in new product introduction and product transfers Under direct supervision, provides assistance to manufacturing engineers in evaluating and implementing changes to documents and processes; participates in projects aimed at improving and optimizing resources; generates documentation related to manufacturing processes such as flowcharts, work instructions, and visual aids; participates in prototype runs, new product introductions, and product transfers; and performs all administrative activities required to fulfill the role. Prepares, updates, and submits for approval manufacturing process documentation (WI, VA, inspections, traveler sheets, checklists, etc.). Time studies and support for line balancing. Data collection. Preparation of production facilities. Participates in verification of product manufacturability. Supports identification of requirements (space, supplies, facilities, equipment, and machinery), layout changes, time studies, and implementation of engineering changes. Trains trainers.
