We collaborate closely with the brightest minds across healthcare to ensure every solution we create combines cutting-edge technology with compassion and empathy—because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you. **The impact you’ll make in this role:** Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery, equipment, facility automation systems, and general infrastructure; participate in improvement, cost-saving, and critical failure-resolution initiatives in daily operations; support implementation of automation technologies; and meet safety, quality, and reliability standards to ensure operational continuity. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION** * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment (e.g., sewing machines) and facility systems. * Operate, adjust, and provide technical support for environmental control systems such as chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, compressors, ductwork, thermostats, sensors, etc. * Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems. * Monitor temperature and ventilation conditions in critical areas, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 13485\. * Participate in process improvements and installation projects for new equipment. * Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental policies. * Accurately record all maintenance activities, failures, and spare parts consumption in the CMMS to ensure traceability and budgetary control. * Oversee quality and timely delivery of work performed by vendors and contractors. * Maintain 5S discipline and standards of order and cleanliness across all work areas. * Participate in the creation, improvement, and development of maintenance plans. * Meet departmental KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE, Budget, TM, among others) **Your Skills and Experience** * Technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC maintenance. * Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams. * Experience diagnosing and resolving industrial machinery failures. * Basic programming and/or modification of PLCs (Allen\-Bradley, SIEMENS, OMRON, Parker, etc). * Strict adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, as well as quality standards. * Teamwork, initiative, and effective communication. * Ability to record CMMS activities; intermediate/beginner-level PC proficiency (Office). * Service-oriented attitude, proactive, results-driven, with urgency. * Flexible working hours * Capable of performing sustained physical work. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S and TPM) * Ability to manage priorities and deadlines. * Basic English (Optional) **OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support internal and external audits by providing technical or documentary information related to maintenance and facilities. * Submit requisitions for essential spare parts and/or materials required for proper maintenance. * Provide support on training topics for new technical and operational staff in the area. * Actively participate in continuous improvement workshops and/or technical problem-solving sessions. * Collaborate on inspections regarding safety and environmental compliance for equipment and facilities. * Perform other assigned tasks. **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** **EDUCATION** Technical degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation and PLCs, or Industrial Maintenance—or related field. **EXPERIENCE** 4\-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing processes.
