




**MOLD ASSEMBLER AND ADJUSTER** **Position Objective** Ensure the proper assembly, adjustment, preventive and corrective maintenance of molds used in the plastic injection process, guaranteeing their optimal performance and contributing to final product quality, production efficiency, and reduction of machine downtime. **Required ProfileEducation** * Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Tooling, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related field. **Experience** * 2 to 3 years in a similar position within plastic injection companies. * Experience in assembly, adjustment, and maintenance of injection molds. **Technical Knowledge** * Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams. * Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. * Proficiency with workshop tools (lathe, milling machine, grinder desirable). * Use of measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, dial indicators). * Industrial safety procedures. * Plastic injection processes (basic to intermediate). **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Assemble and disassemble molds on injection machines according to established production schedules. * Perform fine adjustments to molds to ensure the quality of the injected part. * Inspect and prepare molds prior to assembly (cleaning, lubrication, component replacement). * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on molds (cavity adjustments, polishing, component replacement, cooling channel verification, etc.). * Identify, diagnose, and correct mold failures affecting production. * Collaborate with the production team to properly set up molds and machine parameters. * Maintain control and records of all interventions performed on each mold (logs). * Comply with company-established industrial safety, quality, and hygiene regulations. * Keep assigned tools and equipment organized and in good condition. * Propose improvements in mold assembly and maintenance processes.
