Covia is seeking a **Maintenance Supervisor** who will make a positive impact on the **Operations** team at our **local plant in Lampazos de Naranjo**; as Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to **supervise** the execution of **maintenance programs for fixed and mobile equipment**, ensure equipment availability and operational continuity at the plant, coordinate **quality control** and **calibration** activities, **manage resources** and the **departmental budget**, and drive technical staff development and implementation of minor projects—focused on **safety**, **efficiency**, and **continuous improvement**. **The selected candidate will have the following key responsibilities:** * Supervise maintenance execution for fixed and mobile equipment to ensure plant equipment availability and operational continuity. * Monitor the maintenance system by reviewing schedules, materials, equipment conditions, and reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and preventive actions. * Coordinate quality control and calibration activities, ensuring process equipment reliability and proper documentation control within the department. * Manage the annual maintenance budget, evaluate vendor performance, and control resources required for operations. * Identify training needs, maintain category matrices, and develop technical staff to strengthen performance and career growth. * Plan and monitor minor plant projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. * Verify compliance with safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment, and continuous improvement in operations and maintenance processes. **The selected candidate must meet the following qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering** or related field. * Experience in **industrial operations and maintenance**, preferably in fixed and mobile equipment maintenance. * Knowledge of **mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mobile equipment maintenance**. * Experience in **quality control, calibration, budgeting, and maintenance resource management**. * Proficiency with tools such as **Microsoft Excel**, **MS Project**, and preferably the **JDE maintenance module**. * Knowledge of **industrial safety, problem analysis, planning, and organization**. * English proficiency preferred for working in a professional environment. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. * Professional growth opportunities within a global organization. * An inclusive culture aligned with Covia’s values. * An organization that ensures fair, inclusive, and discrimination-free processes.
