Lead problem-solving teams using advanced methodologies **Nidec AMEC**, a leading global manufacturer, is searching for a highly skilled and results\-driven **Maintenance Engineer** to join our team in **Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, México**. This key role directs and coordinates technician activities, focused on maintaining all automated processes and equipment systems to ensure operational safety, quality standards, and corporate objectives are consistently met. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Personnel Supervision \& Development:** Directly supervise maintenance technicians. Coordinate their activities, manage spare parts/documentation, and develop **cross\-training plans** to achieve high versatility. * **Maintenance Strategy (TPM):** Implement, update, and ensure **100% accomplishment** of Preventive Maintenance and Auto\-Maintenance Plans. Lead **TPM** workshops and participate in continuous improvement activities (SMED). * **Performance Metrics:** Drive operational improvements to meet maintenance KPIs, specifically aiming to **reduce MTTR** (Mean Time To Repair) and **increase MTBF** (Mean Time Between Failures). * **Failure Analysis:** Lead problem\-solving teams using advanced methodologies (PDCA, 5 Whys?, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis) to quickly analyze failures and implement corrective actions. * **Compliance:** Ensure full adherence to **IATF 16949 Quality System** and **ISO 14001 Environmental** standards, including chemical handling and waste disposal procedures. * **Safety Authority:** Guarantee that all equipment safety devices are operational and that personnel respect and follow all safety rules (with authority to stop production if safety or quality risks are present). **Required Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering. * **Experience:** **3–5 years** of progressive experience in a similar maintenance role. * **Advanced Technical Expertise (Minimum 5 years combined experience in these technologies):** * Heat treatment * Spot Resistance welding * Injection Molding * Aluminum Casting * **PLC Skills:** **Advanced level** proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence). * **Language:** **Advanced English** proficiency (**90% or higher**) is mandatory. * **Core Competencies:** Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics/drawings, team leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive, rigorous approach to work.
