Lead, mentor, and set technical standards for transmission analysts **Job Description** ------------------- Focused on designing, improving, and scaling transmission network models used for congestion simulations and FTR trading across ERCOT\-SPP This is not a maintenance or compliance\-oriented modeling role. We are looking for a technically elite builder who can design, improve, and scale complex network simulation systems in a fast\-moving trading environment. * Own the architecture, assumptions, and implementation of large\-scale transmission network models used in trading. * Design and improve power flow modeling frameworks, including topology processing, shift factor computation, contingency definitions, and scenario construction. * Translate forward\-looking network changes (outages, new transmission, generators, load evolution) into structured model inputs. * Create innovative approaches to improve simulation accuracy, solution efficiency, and model robustness. * Identify and integrate new data sources or structural insights into Bravos’ network models. * Serve as final technical reviewer for model changes deployed into trading workflows. * Lead, mentor, and set technical standards for transmission analysts. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Experience in electricity markets * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power systems, Physics, Applied Mathematics * Experience with PSSE, Power World **Selection Process** --------------------- The selection process is carried out through Aira \- a recruitment platform designed to improve your application experience.
