Job Summary: Packaging Engineering Analyst responsible for creating specifications, maintaining databases, and supporting continuous improvements in the automotive supply chain. Key Highlights: 1. We are currently seeking talented individuals with strong performance potential and energy capable of reinforcing and generating the positive work environment we take pride in. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Creates engineering specifications and work instructions for packaging components, publish product packaging specifications in company system and communicate to affected departments. * Supports investigations into customer complaints and implement corrective and preventative actions. * Initiates and maintains customer specific packaging database for assigned parts. * Maintains SAP Master Data module with packaging information as identified by manufacturing affiliates. * Provides regularly scheduled status updates on current directed projects. * Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives. * Coordinates, attends and documents internal customer meetings. * Knowledge and application of the following systems: o Microsoft Office Applications o Customer Specific Systems + FCA – Crates + GM – OLCT + FORD – GPP + TOYOTA – VPACS + HONDA \- NAPS **Equal Employment Opportunity Statement.** Yazaki is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, differing abilities, or any other characteristic protected by law.
