The Specialist, Information Security role is a supportive function whose objective is to assist in the completion of Third\-Party Cyber Security assessments, evidence gathers and internal compliance audit support. This role supports both internal client and external Vendor\-facing activities. The Information Security Analyst's responsibilities include: **Responsibilities:** * Assist in conducting Security and Technical Architecture Review (STAR) process for new and existing third parties and partners at the project level (onboarding) * Support subject matter experts in explaining and documenting the risk management process and timelines * Perform initial screening and documentation of potential risks for proposed vendor products/services * Assist in scheduling and preparing for periodic reviews of vendor adherence to GBT standards * Input and track information in the Amex GBT GRC tool to support vendor review workflow * Compile and organize documentation to support risk management plan (RMP) development * Support the decommissioning process for vendors during review * Collaborate with Information Security team members to gather and compile security\-related information * Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for the Third\-Party Cyber Security team * Support contract review processes by organizing and documenting technical terms **Knowledge/Expertise:** * Ability to interact professionally with management and team members * Basic understanding of Travel Industry and related travel products * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field * Information security certifications preferred (e.g., Security\+, SSCP) * Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with emerging interest in information security compliance * Understanding of technical architecture and vendor documentation * Support audit\-related documentation activities * Strong communication and organizational skills in English (Verbal and Written) * Familiarity with vendor management concepts * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks * Willingness to learn and develop professional skills * Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines Location Mexico Click here to learn more about the benefits we offer in Mexico.
