The primary focus of this role will be on headcount and expenses, ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysis, and optimization of costs. The ideal candidate will possess a background in financial analysis, a deep understanding of expense management, and the ability to provide strategic insights to drive informed decision\-making. Responsibilities Prepare regular and ad\-hoc financial reports (planned vs actual spend), variance analyses, month\-over\-month analysis, and dashboards to communicate expense trends and insights to key collaborators. Own the ongoing forecasting process, providing accurate and timely updates on expense projections to support business planning. Connect with business partners to understand their expense needs and provide financial insights for decision\-making. Communicate complex financial concepts to non\-financial collaborators in a clear and concise manner. Collaborates with leaders across the company to accurately reflect the forecast and also to ensure the financial plan aligns with the strategic plan Own relationships with budget owners to translate strategy into the financial plan Skills/Competencies Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience Solid understanding of financial standards, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
