Responsibilities* Design and plan drainage systems for various projects. * Conduct research and analysis of drainage systems to optimize performance. * Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate drainage systems into project designs. * Ensure quality and safety standards are met for drainage construction. * Develop project schedules and budgets for drainage systems. * Participate in project meetings to report progress and provide technical support. * Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors. * Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for continuous and single\-event rainfall modeling. * Analysis of basins, hydrographs, development and routing of maximum discharges. **Requirements** * 5\-10 years of experience in drainage engineering. * Software expertise includes: HEC\-HMS and SWMM. * Understanding of FHWA hydraulic engineering design series and technical reports. * Stormwater quantity/quality calculations, LID, NPDES compliance and erosion control * Software expertise includes: HEC\-RAS, HY\-8, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, FlowMaster, useful 2D expertise such as SRH\-2D, FLO\-2D * Development of drainage plans, profiles, specifications and estimates for transportation projects and hydraulic resources.
