Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive Metallurgical Engineer to manage resources, supervise production processes, and lead teams, ensuring quality and continuous improvement. Focus on continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards. 1\.\- Title: METALLURGICAL ENGINEER 2\.\- Requirements: Education: Higher education degree as a **Metallurgical Engineer** Training: Production processes, workload management, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement. Skills: Proactive, personnel management, ability to work under pressure and in teams, problem identification and resolution. Knowledge of machinery and tools, line balancing, adherence to production standards, verification of correct payroll for supervised personnel, monitoring of machinery and equipment under supervision to ensure optimal operating conditions, identification of training needs, personnel safety. Experience: 2 years in the position. 3\.\- Objective: Manage assigned resources to fulfill the production program, implement corrective and preventive actions, in accordance with the quality management system and specifically the quality policy. 4\.\- Functions and Responsibilities: \*\- Manage human resources and labor relations to maintain a positive work environment. \*\- Keep personnel well-informed about production and quality objectives to be achieved during their shift. \*\- Maintain control over the production process. \*\- Ensure operators have all required indirect materials readily available to perform their duties. \*\- Meet established quality indicators and production schedule for their work area. \*\- Ensure continuity of the production process during shift changes. \*\- Verify that supervised personnel comply with established safety guidelines within their area of responsibility. \*\- Participate daily in continuous improvement activities. \*\- Train, instruct, and develop supervised personnel.
