APCA ENGINEERING IS SEEKING: **ALUMINUM WELDER** **Job Objective** Perform high-quality and precise welding and fabrication of aluminum parts and structures, complying with the company's established technical procedures, safety protocols, and production indicators. **Minimum Requirements** **Education:** * Certificate or technical degree in industrial welding, manufacturing, or metal-mechanical engineering. * Minimum education level: Technical High School or equivalent (with specialization in Welding). **Experience:** * 1–2 years of experience as an aluminum welder or in similar metallurgical processes, preferably in manufacturing or workshops. * **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in MIG (primary) and TIG welding processes. * Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and symbols. * Adjustment and operation of MIG/TIG equipment. * Knowledge of basic industrial quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Read, interpret, and apply welding drawings, specifications, and standards to correctly perform tasks. * Prepare surfaces and parts (cleaning, cutting, fitting, and clamping) prior to welding. * Perform aluminum welding using required processes (primarily MIG/GMAW and/or TIG/GTAW). * Adjust equipment parameters (amperage, voltage, shielding gas, travel speed) to ensure high-quality welds. * Visually inspect welds and correct defects as necessary. * Maintain order and safety in the work area, applying appropriate safety regulations and personal protective equipment. * Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of welding tools and equipment. * Report progress, technical issues, and material requirements to the immediate supervisor. **Personal Competencies:** * Attention to detail and precision. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Organizational ability and time management. * Commitment to safe practices and compliance with standards.
