Summary: Assists the Strategic Sourcing Manager in developing and executing global/regional sourcing strategies for critical components, focusing on productivity and cost savings. Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work with critical commodities **Resumen:** Responsible of assisting the Strategic Sourcing Manager in the Global/Regional Sourcing Supply Base Strategies, focusing on critical components related to Glasses, Valves, Compressors and Plastics Fabrication. Responsabilidades: **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. Provide the organization with productivity and cost saving projects to meet and/or exceed the annual objective. 2\. Execute sourcing strategies under the guidance of the Strategic Sourcing Manager in alignment with Global Supply Manager. 3\. Maintain the MAPICS database with any commercial term such as: price, incoterm, payment term and conditions, for new and current parts. 4\. Develop new vendors for Monterrey plant, in alignment with Global and Local sourcing Managers. 5\. Coordinate quality and engineering approval for new samples. Assure Global Sourcing procedures for integration of new supplier/part is followed. 6\. Support Purchasing Area in expediting activities. **Requirements:** 1\. 2 years in strategic sourcing roles 2\. 1 year in Glasses, Valves, Compressors and Plastics commodities 3\. 3 years in supply chain related function desirable 4\. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, high sense of urgency, customer focus (internal and external) 5\. Advanced excel 6\. Advanced conversational English. 7\. Desirable knowledge in refrigeration, electrical and structural parts.
