Description

We are seeking a **Medium-Voltage Electrical Services Technician** with experience in **electrical substations, medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, PCC (Power Capacitor Banks), emergency power plants, and associated equipment**, to join our field service team. The position involves **installation, connections, testing, and commissioning** of industrial and commercial electrical systems. **Responsibilities** * Perform **medium-voltage electrical work**, in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards. * Carry out **installation, connection, and maintenance** of electrical substations. * Install, connect, and service **medium-voltage switchgear**, cells, circuit breakers, and associated equipment. * Participate in the installation and testing of **power and distribution transformers**. * Perform **electrical connections, conduit installation, cable laying, and termination** for medium-voltage cables. * Support the **installation, operation, and commissioning** of **PCC (capacitor banks)**. * Conduct **commissioning and functional testing** of medium-voltage systems. * Support services for **emergency power plants**, including testing, basic synchronization, and parameter verification. * Prepare **technical reports, service logs, and service evidence**. * Strictly comply with **electrical safety procedures**, use of PPE, and current regulations. * Safeguard and properly use assigned **tools, equipment, and materials**. **Requirements** * **Technical diploma or technical high school degree** in Electricity, Electromechanics, or related field. * **Minimum 2 years of experience** in **medium-voltage electrical work**. * Practical knowledge of: * **Electrical substations** * **Medium-voltage switchgear and cells** * **Transformers** * **PCC (capacitor banks)** * **Electrical connections and commissioning** * **Valid DC\-3 courses and certifications**, preferably in: * Medium-voltage work * Electrical safety * PPE usage * Working at heights (if applicable) * Basic knowledge of electrical standards and industrial safety. * Availability for **fieldwork and travel**. * Responsible attitude, safety focus, and teamwork orientation. **Desirable** * Experience in **FAT and SAT testing**. * Knowledge of **protective relays**. * Valid driver’s license. **We Offer** * **Competitive salary**, commensurate with experience and certifications. * **Statutory benefits**. * Job stability and continuity on projects. * Ongoing technical training. * Travel allowances and support for out-of-town services (where applicable).
