Description
It is a social project that brings health and hope to vulnerable communities in Mexico, transforming train carriages into fully equipped medical clinics that travel across the Mexican Republic, where specialists provide consultations, medications, diagnostic tests, and free healthcare.
To deliver specialized medical care for the timely detection and diagnosis of precancerous cervical lesions in vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities visited by **Dr. Vagón**.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Perform colposcopy procedures
* Identify, diagnose, and classify intraepithelial lesions and other lower genital tract pathologies
* Perform biopsy collection
* Provide counseling and education on sexually transmitted infections and cancer
* Facilitate appropriate referral and channeling to tertiary-level centers for cases requiring surgical or specialized treatment
* Actively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team of Dr. Vagón
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
* Medical Doctor and Surgeon degree (Médica Cirujana y Partera)
* Postgraduate degree or diploma in colposcopy, with certification
* Valid federal professional license (Cédula profesional federal)
**EXPERIENCE**
* Minimum 2 years
* *Preferably* with experience in mobile clinics
**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
* Technical proficiency in using colposcopes
* Exceptional communication skills, with sensitivity and patience when interacting with patients
* Empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity when serving vulnerable populations
**JOB CONDITIONS**
* Extended stays away from the employee’s place of residence during operational campaigns.
* Frequent travel required
