Summary: This Buyer position is responsible for negotiating and buying Interior Parts, managing the sourcing process, developing solutions, and administering contracts. Highlights: 1. Lead cross-functional teams and develop commodity strategies 2. Manage key supplier relationships and continuously improve costs 3. Coordinate activities with other departments and resolve conflicts The Buyer position will be responsible for negotiating and buying Interior Parts in support of the Interior Purchasing organization. The duties include management of the sourcing process, developing and implementing creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, and PO/ contract administration. This includes but is not limited to: Selecting suppliers, placing purchase orders, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external customers, managing key Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier relationships, and developing commodity strategies. The ideal candidate must have: The ability to coordinate activities with other departments and resolve conflicts; must lead a cross functional team with "One Voice" to suppliers; and develop and manage key supplier relationships while maximizing suppliers' ability to deliver quality product on time. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and/or assisting in the development of strategies and solutions to continuously improve costs and capacity. Requirements: **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field * Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or closely related relevant experience * Strong communication skills * Ability to lead cross\-functional teams * Strong comunication English skills
