




Job Summary: This role seeks an expert automotive technician skilled in precise diagnostics and consultative support, with strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and repair quality. Internal training and technical support for workshop staff **General Objective:** Accurately diagnose issues on the first attempt, and accompany the Service Advisor during vehicle reception for complex faults, extracting maximum information about the vehicle’s malfunction through dialogue with the customer. **Education Level:** Automotive Technical Degree. **Knowledge:** Proficiency in manual and specialized workshop tools; operation of computer equipment and computer-based diagnostic tools; use of all relevant systems (ElsaPro, DISS, ETKA, etc.); occupational safety and hygiene practices. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience at dealerships, with demonstrable specialization or certification. **Expected Behaviors:** Capable of performing a variety of tasks, especially those requiring precision. Values perfection and dislikes making errors. Effective due to systematic orientation, ability to identify and analyze facts and data. Solves problems methodically and logically. Customer Satisfaction 1\.1 Ensure rapid resolution compliant with Volkswagen’s technical problem statement requirements for its Dealer Network. 1\.2 Prevent repeated repairs and vehicle immobilization by issuing accurate diagnostics and processing required parts orders promptly. 1\.3 Provide consultative support to service advisors, workshop supervisors, and technical staff in resolving difficult technical issues. 1\.4 Serve as the liaison between the workshop and the end customer, ensuring clear understanding of customer needs and their precise execution by the workshop. 1\.5 Serve as the liaison between the workshop and the customer, ensuring repairs performed are clearly understood by the customer. 1\.6 Act as a knowledge multiplier—sharing training or course content provided by VWM for the Dealer Network with fellow service technicians, diagnosticians, or similar personnel. **2\. Organization and Communication** 2\.1 Support service advisors in gathering customer information enabling accurate diagnostics and parts orders for technical issues. 2\.2 As needed, support the workshop supervisor in resolving technical issues. 2\.3 For technical matters, assume responsibility for internal training, ensuring advancement and application of knowledge. 2\.4 Share knowledge and experience with technical staff during repairs (internal technical support). **Main Responsibilities:** 2\.5 Participate in technical seminars and/or courses related to their specialty and new products offered by Volkswagen Academy for Dealer Network personnel, maintaining advanced and up-to-date technical competence. 2\.6 Act as an active point of contact between the dealership and Volkswagen Academy. Additionally, maintain extensive contact with specialized service technicians, technical training centers, and their workshop team. 2\.7 Ensure superior work quality through clear technical procedures in the workshop where involved. 2\.8 Utilize all available systems and resources to achieve successful first-time repairs. 2\.9 Conduct success verification after challenging repair situations.
