Major company in the sector **OPERATIONS MANAGER (Production and Maintenance)** **Position Objective:** Ensure operational efficiency through strategies that guarantee production and maintenance performance, in accordance with established quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan and develop strategies to optimize departmental efficiency. * Ensure production planning, scheduling, and execution. * Adjust procedures based on machinery, equipment, and personnel skills. * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of operations and facilities. * Assign tasks to supervisors and monitor their work, ensuring productivity and safety records. * Develop and monitor the department’s annual budget. * Lead continuous improvement projects and cost optimization initiatives. * Interpret diagrams, specifications, and production orders. * Coordinate special company projects. * Manage direct reports (22 employees), fostering a stable work environment. **Requirements:** * Education: Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. *(Technicians with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.)* * Experience: **4 to 8 years** coordinating production and maintenance in the metal-mechanical, machining, or home appliance industry.
